The national organizing committee for the North American Junior/Young Riders Championships at Rebecca Farm met last week and has published the following notices:

1. The 2017 NAJC and CICOY Applications are now online. The application can be accessed through each Athlete’s dashboard at The deadline for applications is midnight on May 15, 2017.  If you are interested in representing Area IV but are not yet qualified, submit your application anyway.

2.  Riders may only ride in the CCI* Championships or the CICOY**

3.  In terms of riding in other divisions it appears that due to schedule impossibilities - as in MAJOR JUGGLE, this won't happen. There is a possibility that a rider may ride two horses in the CICOY** with the team horse going first.  However, this has not been decided due to limited stabling.  Let your Young Rider Coordinator know if this applies to you.

4. Arrival dates are not yet finalized.

5.  There will be a food tent for riders and support staff.  "Outsiders" may buy from the multitude of food cart options and eat with riders but will not be able to buy food in the rider's tent.

6.   There will be no golf cart parade and instead a mounted welcoming ceremony.

7. Grooms will not be permitted to ride due to scheduling conflicts with the regular divisions and NAJYRC.
