YRs Shooting for NAJYRC Must Declare Area by March 1st

Planning to compete at the 2017 Adequan/FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships (NAJYRC) this summer? Area Declarations are due March 1!

An athlete’s Area is determined by their legal address as recorded in the USEF database.  For 2017, all athletes must complete an Area Declaration.  If an athlete is currently residing in a different Area than what is listed by his/her address, due to relocating for university, working student position, etc., and they wish to compete for that Area, they must indicate this on the Area Declaration.

Completing an Area Declaration is very easy but it must be done no later than March 1, 2017. Just go to www.usef.org and sign into your “My USEF” account, click on the “Athlete Dashboard” and then “Online Applications.” You will see the Area Declaration application as your first option. With one or two easy steps your Area Declaration will be complete and you will receive an e-mail confirmation.

Remember also that potential NAJC/CICOY Athletes must be a member of their Area’s Young Rider Program. Please contact your Area’s Young Rider Coordinator with any questions about the program. youngriders@useaiv.org
