2025 Area IV Championships

The 2025 Area IV Championships will be held at Heritage Park Horse Trials from September 20-21 , 2025 in Olathe, KS

To qualify for Area IV Championships:

  • The rider must declare membership in Area IV. This is done through the USEA. The default Area is based on mailing address.

  • The rider must place 1st-5th at the level in any USEA recognized Horse Trial from the period of October 21, 2024 - September 2, 2025, and complete (receiving a final numerical score) in at least one Area IV horse trial during this period.

  • USEA Requirements:

    • All Area Championship competitors must be current USEA Members.

    • All qualifying competitions must be USEA-registered horse trials, three-day events or CIs.

    • Divisions must have five or more starters to count as qualifying competitions.

    • Beginner Novice divisions will not count as qualifiers for the Novice division.

  • NOTE: Whips are not permitted to be carried in the Dressage Test at USEF/USEA Championships or USEA Area Championship divisions.
