Schooling Shows

The following are Mini-Events and Schooling Shows in Area IV.  These are not USEA recognized horse trials, so often they are much more informal, less expensive, and relaxed. Many USEA rules are followed at these events. Contact the organizer with specific questions regarding rules.

2018 Schooling Shows-March 18 (rain date 4/1), April 29 (rain date 5/6), July 1, July 22, August TBA, September 9

Entries close 1 week prior to the event

Compete in a full one-day horse trial, a combined test (dressage and show jumping) or dressage in a fun, low-stress show environment. MACTA’s Schooling Show Series provides the opportunity to school the cross country courses on Saturday, then compete over the same course on Sunday.

Offering Starter Novice through Preliminary Level as well as Intro, Training and First Level dressage tests

RIO DRESSAGE  $ CT SHOW   APRIL 21-22, 2018

Dressage classes start at Introductory level and go up, and include Western Dressage.  Combined Tests begin with Tadpole and Green as Grass up to Intermediate.  See show bill for more details.  Stabling is available.

Opening Date:  June 1st, 2018    Closing Date June 30th

Divisions Offered:  Novice, BN, Starter.   Ribbons thru 8th place.  Limited to 50 entries. Entry Fee:  $150
